I'm Scott. To old to post. I bought my 98 TR C5 with only 16,700 miles on it back in June and have loved every minute of it.
Chase you have got to be one the youngest Vette owners I've ever heard of.

Hello, this is great there is now a forum in Utah. My name is Alex, just moved to Salt Lake with my wife a little over a year ago. She's in grad school at the U and I play basketball professionally in Europe. I've wanted a corvette since I was a kid and I'll be buying my first one when I get back to the states after this season is over. I'm enjoying doing all the research and learning something new everyday so I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions.

Corvettes are extremely fun and reliable cars when taken care of. not to mention the prices are starting to come down and most people can afford them

I just bought my first Vette and took delivery from TX 4 days ago, had it at the track at MMP Saturday, it was a T1 race car but 1/2 modded to ST2, raced in the NASA Championships this fall in STI(20 more HP than allowed in ST2 but still finished 7th, around 150WHP down from ST1 cars!) Silver 02 Z06, will soon sport a big wing in the rear, splitter up front, bigger brakes and 345 rear race tires:) I won't be able to take it to meets unless trailered but I will be at autocrosses and at MMP and other tracks often, just track days until I get my racing license in the spring. Did I say I love this car!! Rick

I'm Jim. I have been into cars my whole life. I was an ASE certified master mechanic, and now build chevy stroker motors on the side. I also did the prototype work for STS turbo's for their first C5 twin turbo kit.

I have had so many problems with machine shops in the SLC area, I started going to Strausburg down in Lindon. They also have a top fuel car. Talk to Lindsey. They do real good work at a reasonable price. It's a ways to drive, but quality machine work is worth it.

Hello!
Just drove my '04 MSG Coupe up from AZ about a month ago and drive from Draper to downtown nearly everyday to work.
This car rocks in the snow! I just bought some rims off of a CF vendor and am putting some Michelin Alpin A2s all around - that should improve traction considerably.
This UT forum is a great idea!
I'll check back frequently and look forward to discussing the best d**ned car on the road! ;D

OK so i'm member #34. I guess someone has to be, Icant beleive there isnt more! Ohwell I'm a motor head with oil in my vains instead of blood, I have 4 kids ranging from 2-10 and married to a patient wife. I am an avid Motocross Racer and race the over 30 pro division with several championships under my belt in the USRA. I just started riding my CBR 1000RR at Miller sports park last summer and i'm hoplessly addicted to racing sport bikes now ;D, the speed and power are so mind blowing! you can't top dragging your knee on the ground around a corner @ 110 MPH . I have allways had a love affair with Vettes (cars that is, not old men ) So Last spring I went into Jerry Seiner looking for some fresh paint to drool over and maybe pick up a brochure so i could visualize myself driving the latest and greatest when the next thing i know i'm signing papers on a new 07 C-6 black convertible . I was thrilled but needless to say my wife wasnt amused when i drove it home and supprised her with it ! But it only took one ride in it with me and she couldnt wipe the smile off of her face. Now its been almost a year and we love going out on dates in it every week and its an absolute rush to drive.
