Tom are these pics and videos on your computer or on someplace like Photobucket? If they are on Photobucket, do you think I could get a direct link to them? Would love to save a couple of them, and forward them to my Uncle. He would love to see these rides for sure. They are on Photobucket, and on my computer. I can email you some, OR you can just right click on the pic>Properties>copy, and paste into your browser to get the pic directly....I think. EDIT: I think this link: s176.photobucket.com/albums/w165/Stormer861/...will get you to my album where you can peruse the pictures and select them at your leisure. Let me know if that doesn't work. -Tom

I dont know whats better, the pics or the story about the cops ! You have the absolute worst luck back there, with regards to the law. I cant believe they even pulled you over, should have had Nikki taking pics the whole time ! I know it. The whole time I just kept thinking to myself, "Is this guy FOR REAL?" You know? It was so completely rediculous, but oh so familiar. I wonder how "proud" that cop was, with his "prey"...a 20hp/100 yr old car in front of his cruiser, on the main street of a quaint Vermont town...in front of it's many citizens? If I were him, I'd be totally embarrassed by my own douch-baggery. I'd feel like a fool, sitting there w/my "blues" on, that car in front of me. I've gotten two tickets in 12 years in UT. And I'm the same person, driving the same cars (faster, actually), in UT, as I was back east. My own statistics are objective and plentiful enough to be "proof" to ME, that cops back east (if not everywhere) are crooked as they come. Add in the attitude, and broken psychology, and you have a group of people who you are better off by having no contact with. A sad situation.

You should have gotten a pic of the cruiser behind your car, and then sent it to the town newspaper, with the reason you were pulled over, and I bet that would have been front page news. "Local law enforcement officials pull over car for seat belt violations" Gee that would have helped if the guy ever wanted to run for local sheriff. Just out of curiosity what was his name? It was not Deputy Fife was it? Or Maybe Gomer?

And Jim you really disappointed me on this tread. I had to wait for the pics to load and I am at work on a T1 line. Mind you we have like 20 computers on it, but still it is a T1 line. It must have been hell on your dialup for this to load. I was hoping that after I waited for it to load, I would get to hear from you on how long it took for you to view it. I have mentioned picture sizes a few times, and it has been largely gnored. That is fine. No problem. That just tells me that it is the personal, problem of one with less than ideal ( ) equipment. There is no reason for me to expect the majority to adapt to the needs of one, or even a minority. Besides becoming ccustomed, difficult as it can be, to dealing with a large number of, and large sized photos, some places they are more, and some places less appropriate than others. Your thread on your project is just that, yours. Anyone interested will have to be willing to wait to see the pix. That thread is by you about your project. Your 800 pixels wide pictures fully fill my screen, plus. Because of a lack of people chiming it to comment, I assume the the 800 pixel wide pix and probably even the 1024 pixel wide pix fit the screens of other peoples computers. With my stone age equipment a wide picture stretches the format. Not only is the picture so wide that I have to pan to see it in sections, it stretches the format so that every post in that thread is stretched to match. Not only do I have to pan to see the picture causing the problem, but I have to pan every post just to read text in each post. For photography bugs and fans, bigger is better. For down load speed (file size) and fit on a forum, a 640 pixels wide pic is easier for the masses to deal with. 800 pixels isn't as bad, but in my opinion not often necessary. What really irks me is when someone inserts a picture in a general discussion that stretches the format in a thread that isn't just theirs. All too often I give up on reading a thread just because it is just too much trouble. Maybe having to pan to read a line, every line is the same amount of trouble for other people. Tom are these pics and videos on your computer or on someplace like Photobucket? If they are on Photobucket, do you think I could get a direct link to them? Would love to save a couple of them, and forward them to my Uncle. He would love to see these rides for sure. Mark, Right click on one of Tom's pix, and select "properties" from the drop down window. High light the URL, then "copy" it. Then you can "paste" it into your address bar. I think all of his photos are hosted by Photobucket as are yours.

See how timely my advice is? Part of the problem is my slow computer.
