Agricultural experts have predicted a huge, record breaking, corn crop yield for this fall. It is due to the sudden and unexpected extinction of crows in northern Utah. It seems the demand for crow took a sudden jump on Wednesday August 19th. A certain group of Corvette owners were seen devouring the stringy, tough, tasteless, black birds in great numbers. For details, click on, 92 LT1 Pool. Film at 11:00.

OK,OK, Yes I had numbers north of 14.6, and as I kneel to the King of LT-1s and his awesome 13.87 I am reminded of my big mouth, lack of knowledge, and a lot of other stuff. I have been spitting crow feathers since last night. In my defense I have never seen a LT-1 at RMR run below a 14.6, NEVER!!!! It may be the car, It may be the driver, it may be a combo of both but, Who ever buys that vette from Tom is going to get a fast one. Many congrats TOM

I will submit,I too,was a bit pessimistic. Tom has shown what he,and a decent running LT can do,HMMM,maybe we can set him up to run Ross ?

Mmmmmm, crow. Tastes like sh*t! Those are some d*mn good numbers, though, especially for the car feeling kinda numb when I cruised around in it up in PC.
Couple questions: What was the DA last night, how was the VHT and was the sun out, and what gear is in the miracle vette? MPH numbers weren't that great (but still a bit high for our altitude), indicating the engine really is close to stock, but the ET is significantly quicker than usual, indicating great traction and incredibly fast shifting, which is definitely possible with that silky smooth tranny. That makes me want to tear my tranny down and fix whatever the h*ll it is that makes it hang going in to each gear.
Please pass the BBQ sauce, if there's any left. ;D And I think we need to get a pool going on how fast Matt's is going to be. And also set up a dyno day to see what Matt's, Tom's, Wayne's and my cars are currently putting out.

Sunny, mid 80's, prep? We're talking RMR here. Ask Wayne how the prep was.
Gear? Not sure. Does about 120 in 4th at 5500.
I'm down w/a dyno sesh.

I don't want anything to do with the miracle vette and the pro stock driver. Hopefully he'll sell it so and it will just become a bad memory instead of a threat to me being #2 on the SLC C4 fast list. I should have Tom drive my car and see if he can get into the 11s with it.

Gear? Not sure. Does about 120 in 4th at 5500. Sounds like 3.54s. 3.45s would get you 3 to 4 MPH faster at 5500. 3.54s is as low as you go, with GM supplied gears. RPO# GH0 on your "Service Parts Identification" tag.

I should have Tom drive my car and see if he can get into the 11s with it. It seems like a fun idea....but I think it would be REALLY hard to drive someone else's car balls to the wall. I'd be afraid of breaking it. It's easier when it's your own car, to "tool" on it a bit. Plus what Vince said; I think you know what you're doing, Ross.
