Hey guys question when the defroster is running the car sounds like it is having a hard time running smoothly at higher rpms. However the ac or vents seem to be ok. Didn't seem to lose power on acceleration or like it was choking out.
Any suggestions?

What Mark said. Check for vacuum leaks first.

It was running ok with the normal ac on yesterday but not today. It feels a little like it is shaking in the rear, but I know on these cars that you feel things in the rear when they are coming from the engine alot of time. Sounds like it is groaning(best way to describe the sound) when it revs up to the higher RPM's.

having a hard time running smoothly at higher rpms. Compressor going bad. Not likely a vacuum leak at "higher RPM's". That's usually most noticeable at idle.
