Over the week-end, after the Breakfast, Jim and I decided to replace the door pins on the doors to the White Corvette and my Corvette. The Job took a little longer than we thought it would but, WOW!! once completed, the doors fit like they are brand new. $8.00 a door for Pins and Bushings. Great fix if your doors are sagging. ;D

Did you have to remove the doors or just support them carefully ?

Did you have to remove the doors or just support them carefully ? the doors stayed on the car. the bottom hinges can be removed from the car with the doors closed, maybe the uppers, too. then the pins and bushings can be changed on the bench. What a difference! RACE ON!!! JIM

Yeh, just take off one hinge at a time, have to do a little grinding on the top of the pin with a angle grinder to get it out, drive the new pin in, and re-install the hinge back on the car, repeat....
