We are starting with cutting back the timing, if that is not enough then we will cut the fuel also, until we get to a point where we can get to around 25 miles per hour before bringing everything back to normal...If I can get this thing to around 300 horses on the launch and some 1.7 or so 60 ft times, I'll call it good.... Then when some money falls out of the trees, I will add slicks to the equation.

Now I know why you build log homes. You shake the money out of those trees rather than wait for it to fall out. Congrats on getting that launch control sorted out. Amazing what all can be done with that Gen VII.

My car hooks great and makes a good bit of power but my best 60' is still a 1.82. I don't know if street tires will get you to a 1.7.

Nick, I have several 1.8s with street tires, and that was with the edelbrock heads. I am just going to have to play with it and see what happens...

I must be doing something wrong then. Ohh well, something to work on this year. I want to see 1.6s before the end of the season.

Jim and I went out and started tunning on the launch controller, Still has a hickup. I recalibrated the Gtec and started making some launches. Best launch was a 1.7 60 ft time before it started raining. I am going to recalibrate the Gtec again and make a bunch more 60 ft launces to verify. Jim said he thought that the launches were hard and we still have some spin, but very little, it comes out of the hole pretty hard.

HE WAS GETTING GOOD INITIAL ACCELERATION WITH LITTLE WHEEL SPIN, BUT HIS LAUNCHES AREN'T QUITE AS HARD AS MINE! HIS 60's ARE PROBABLY QUICKER than mine. RACE ON!!! JIM
