So since posting this I have picked up a Ruger 10-22 (and a scope) and the Henry Big Boy 357. Both are fun to shoot but there's something about the Henery I find a bit more fun.
I had them out yesterday up in Parleys canon at a range and it only took me a couple shots to hit some steel targes 100+ feet away just using the iron sights. I need to get the scope a little more on target for the 10-22 and it will be deadly accurate. This hobby is very addicting, I'm already wanting to find another lever action rifle, Kristy wasn't a fan of shooting the big bullets, she doesn't mind the .22.
Might even have to get an old cowboy action/style pistol but that not high up on the priority list.
Now to find a old dusty poncho to wear.
