Earlier in the week, our Marketing Director says to me that he thinks he might need his brakes looked at. He said his car has a lot of miles on it, and he thought they should be checked. After I worked for 8.5 hours today (yeah finally getting overtime again) I met him here at my house. As soon as I bent under the car to set the jack I noticed that the Passenger wheel was wet. Hmm might have a problem more than just slap pads. Pulled the wheel off the passenger side and here is what I found: Notice anything wrong? Not saying there were issues in here but the leak was coming from around the piston in the caliper from it being pushed so far out. I replaced front rotors, calipers and pads and when he got in the car after I bleed the brakes he says...."Wow this thing feels funny" I told him that is called having Brakes. He was amazed at how it stops. Thought I would share.

Looks like they werent using the new high friction calipers on that car. Had one come in that the rotor actually seperated from the center hub,was in for oil change NOT brakes. Looks like you got it handled, now how about an update on the coupe ?

Update on the Coupe.... I dusted it recently because it was really getting nasty looking... Honestly I have not touched it.

Well mine needs a full on bath. What should have been about a two week project has once again turned into all summer. I know what your saying, has does always seem to happen. Either the racing season is too short, or the build season is too long. We got to fix that.

Sooner or later one of the two will be done and running. Then just got to keep it that way. I miss when the coupe could be taken out there and ran and driven back and forth to work, but it will be well worth it once that Coupe is done. I am hoping to get the Vert to that point soon, and then I can worry about the paint and body as time progresses. I will sooner or later get the coupe so I can bring it out and play too.
