My secondary pusher fan for the A/C came on at the same time as the primary cooling fan. I read that the A/C needs to have air blowing through the radiator to cool properly. Because of the way that TAS auto wreckers wired the Gen 7, the fans come on together when called by the Gen 7. I re-wired the pusher fan to come on when the A/C is turned on. I wired the fan through a 30 amp relay. It took more time to string the wires through the wire loom that ii did to do the wiring job....
WOW!!! What a difference. The temp is much colder at low speed and idling at stop lights, and it takes longer for the main fan to come on. I wonder why GM did not do this from the factory.
