I'm going to pick up a set soon. Wondered if anyone had an opinion on if I should just get the platforms and use the floor jack to get the car on and off them or splurge and go for the hydraulic style that will lift themselves.
these will be a great convenience for working on the car in my little garage

Tony if I had the money and option to buy GoJacks I would get those. They are the ones you slide around the wheel, and then pump up with your foot. We used to have them in a shop I worked at, and it was easy to use, and since we used them every day it showed me that they were durable. I have really thought about getting them for myself but have been out of the budget. Right now it is like a shoe horn putting the cars in the garage, and being able to push the cars around, and pick up and move Jessie's dragster around would make it easier to make a path in there, especially during the winter.

those are what i'd love to have, but their price tag is a bit high for the use i'll be giving them. there are similar for about 1/3 the money, or just for for the plates that are even less.
i'm leaning towards the plates to save for stripping/body supplies.
