Well, Ross came by tonight, and decided to fix my throttle response, as it was really sticky. After crawling under my dash, standing on his head, he redesigned my foot peddle, and generally rebuilt the throttle cable. The throttle was only opening about 2/3 rds of way. It opens 100% now. I reset the TPI and what a difference between what it was at and what it is at now. gaining that much more throttle opening it will be really interesting to see if it makes that much difference. We are going out tuning on Sunday, after stopping at Seels for breakfast. I have G-Tek so we will see if I am able to pick a couple of tenths after tuning....
Car is running great, Ross is a great tuner, thanks buddy, It looks like one more trip to the dyno to make some high speed runs, but I don't think we are going to pick up any extra horse's. We think the car is about as tuned as it's going to get.. Love that Gen 7, makes tuning on the go a snap...
You don't think there will be any more power with 1/3 more throttle?? I say that there will be (more power)...Maybe minimal tq increase (so you SOTP may not feel it, but in the upper RPM
as a "back east" buddy of mine used to say about his Beemah
As soon as we can get it on the dyno, we should be able to tell. I am not to sure how much gain I will get, as I have the 58 mm throttle body. Much more than my little used LT motor will use.... I am hoping your are correct....

Question, I have an LS2 and the throttle body is giving me real fits, So much so that I don't like driving it anymore and I LOVE driving that car ! I can't find anyone who will help me fix it. And there is the question, I'm not looking for handouts, I have $$$ and for the person that can help me and get my car back on the road I would truly be grateful. Anyone ?

vernharrington: Anyone know why the so called bolt in 5 speed kit will not go high enough to get the right angle from the trans to the rearend? The trans is up against the tunnel and still have a negative angle. This is on my 66 coupe new crate 427 motor TKO 600 5spd
