Ok---It has finally quit raining for a while. I am going to pull my car on the grass, pull off the spare tire, everything of any weight, to get ready for Wed. I have been told that waxing will help, so I may even do that. All I need is a couple of tenths to beat a couple of guys running strokers and slicks. I won't mention any names. Good weather, good friends, and we will have good fun!!! See you there.....

I hear that Phil will be there, and Snowman says he will race you if you give him the tree. Other than that, your pretty well the BIG DOG out there for now. The problem is that when we race you, you go by so fast we have tendencies to get out of the car to see what's wrong. "Been there, Done that, Hated it"!!!! ;D

The rule of thumb is that one hundred pounds is worth a tenth. Let Alex drive. That ought to be worth a couple of tenths. ;D If anyone needs me, I'm going to get a head start for Outer Mongolia before Wayne reads this.

I've seriously improved my ability to shift quickly by changing some settings in my chip. After messing around with the stopwatch I'm estimating it used to take me .7 seconds to shift from 1 to 2 and then .5 seconds to go from 2 to 3. I think I can cut those numbers in half now.
Wayne, you'll need to cut about 500 lbs out of your car to keep up now. Things you could remove include the shocks, take off a large front tire and put your spare on instead, rear hatch, front and rear sway bars, 1 lug nut and stud from each rear wheel and two from the fronts (make sure they aren't side by side for safety), passenger seat, driver seat, carpet, 2 of the taillights, and all the brakes and calipers except for one rear one (you need the ebrake to pass inspection).

I have an auto, dont need the e-brake. With all of the enhancments you have made, I believe that you should move up in class and race the Yellow Corvette. That would be much more fair, than racing the stroker and myself. At the very least, the Snowman!!!! I think you and he are very close....

Where in the H is Gaynor.. Gaynor are you painting that truck again.. You need to get on here and give Ross his come-up-ins. Now that he has found an other 100 horses, he is getting a little snooty about racing our low horsepower vettes. You could say he has gotten an attitude.

Is that anything like rose colored glasses? If you tint those sun glasses dark enough to miss seeing the rain, you'll miss the tree. Wayne's car will be lighter, but because of practice Gaynor will out shift him. With an AUTOMATIC??? Gaynor! Have you worked your way up to a powershift? Wayne will be dead meat granny shifting his 700R4.

How and where did you get that little green smiley face, and I want one too. And without going to a "quote" how do I get to the smiley face... Oops, I just hijacked my own thread....(frowney face)

Oops, I just hijacked my own thread....(frowney face)(frowney face) Like that? It is simple for an experienced computer guru like me. I'd tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.
