Hi there! My name is Ben and I just found out about this new forum today. This is great! I'm already using the popular "corvette forum" and "corvette action center" but having a forum only for Utah is awesome! I moved into the SLC area in January last year. I owned several corvettes, an 86 a 79 and now a "custom" 81. Replaced the camshaft last summer with a CompCam, much better than stock! Can’t wait to take the vette for a spin once the salt will be washed off… Hopefully we can all meet somewhere for a cruise! Nothing compares to a herd of corvette cruising down the road… Cheers!

Welcome angel303. Make sure you get your info to Shayne and also keep checking on the boards here. I know there is a cruise up to Trappers Loop coming soon. Also there is word of another meeting like the one we had Saturday in Riverton. The next two will be up on West Jordan, and one in Saratoga Springs. I will do my best to keep you updated, and make sure you hear about the one coming in your area for sure. What neighborhood do you live in down in Saratoga Springs?

My AO 4LT coupe was just built Tuesday.
Love to drive. Other cars are 07 Impala SS (my Daily Driver) and 06 Envoy Denali (wife's daily driver).
Looking forward to some meets and drives.

Hi all, bought my dream car for my 60th birthday 2007 C6, A6, Monterey Red in August of 2006. I have wanted one since high school. Glad to see a forum started here in Utah. I was born, and raised in American Fork on a dairy farm. Looking forward to more meet and greets.

I just got turned on to this by someone I know back east. Got my second Vette in Oct. Its a 2006 coupe with manual trans, it sure is worlds apart fron the 76 I used to have. I'm 58 and single again in Sandy. No really Sandy isn't that bad. Between the Vette, my Jeep and motorcycle there just isn't enough time. I'm looking forward to meeting up with you 'guys'

Well Welcom Mike and Desert Rat. As an FYI I also live in Sandy, and it is really not that bad at all. I have a Red 90 POS but it is a work in progress. With the weather nice this weekend, I am sure I will be out there cleaning, and working on mine. If you drive by, and see the hood up, feel free to stop.

Hi all. I'm new to the vette world but am jumping in with both feet. I am restoring a '69 427/390 4-Speed Convertible, all numbers match. If anyone has done this before, I'd love your input. Right now the interior is out and I'm working on the rust in the birdcage. The frame is solid (TX car) and she's got a no-hit body, but I'll be doing a lot of glass work anyway to remove the 4" fender flares and take her back to stock. The suspension/chassis has been almost totally updated or restored, and then engine is strong. My goal is a July 4th completion date. As soon as finals are over (next week), the car will become my full time job! Can't wait!!
BTW, I'm a mom (yes, mom) of three kids (15, 15 & 11), married, full-time student, wanna be full-time motorhead. I'm right in the Captial City of our 'pretty, great state'. Hope to see you all soon and if anyone is interested in what's going to emerge from my garage around independence day, feel free to shoot me a note.
Looking forward to club activities & other shows. I'll probably be at some local shows with my dad & bro whose specialty is rat rods.
