I can never get pictures to post on here. Fluids drained. Subframe is out. Passenger side axle was the worst part. It didn't want to come out of the diff. I finally had to pull the leaf spring to get a better angle on it, then it came right out. Tonight I have school. Tomorrow I want to get it all out. Vince, what is the easiest way to proceed? I figure next step is pull the headers/x-pipe, but then do I drop the diff by itself, then the tranny, or drop both of those as one piece. I may just take off work early tomorrow to grab the fluid. If I don't get it tomorrow then I'll plan on going to the car show to grab it Saturday. I drop it as shown,diff/trans/tube as an assembly. The tailshaft is so long that its a HUGE pain to try to pull the diff only far enough to the rear to remove it.Plus, you still have to remove the rest anyway. :)May as well do it the easy way.Unbolt the shifter,NOT the adjuster tube clamp, unbolt the TT from the bellhousing, disconnect the clutch line QC at the clutch slave, slide it back about 5 inches out of the clutch and bellhousing and you are there. All set ! ;D

Hmmm. I'll have to look at it and see what your talking about. I heard the worst part is the upper bell housing bolts.

Hmmm. I'll have to look at it and see what your talking about. I heard the worst part is the upper bell housing bolts. They are not bad once you have the torque tube out of the way. :)You will need some wobbly sockets(good quality ones) as well as patience.

Going to take tomorrow afternoon off to work on it. I'll swing by around 11:30-12 or so to get the lube if that works. From there I'll go home and pull the exhaust and keep working. Would be nice to have some help or a working tranny jack but I'll deal.

Vince, do you do emissions and safety? I got to get the girlfriends Kia done today, along with an oil change. I assume you could do an oil change on it but is it easier for me to just take it to a Jiffy Lube?

I hate this car. HATE HATE HATE HATE. This is enough of a pain for me to almost never own a vette again. Sorry you are having problems, I know how that feels. I had planed on coming up to help, but Mon night I was down in bed with the worst flu/cold/pneu I have ever had. I plan on going to the doc on Monday because I dont think I am getting better. What do you need in the way of help, as there are many on this forum who would love to help.

Got it all back together just to find out the slave is leaking. I am just hoping it didn't get all over the new disc. Got to pull everything apart again.

The line going to the slave was leaking. Got it all repaired and bled. Still have a lot of work to do. Tranny and rear are in. Still got to hook up brakes, suspension, tunnel plate, tranny cooler lines, headers, exhaust, plugs, wires, intake, shifter, fluids. etc.

Clutch feels good. No leaks. Only one issue that I'll have to fix when I get back. Can't get into reverse. Not sure if it is a shifter adjustment or maybe something not plugged in correctly.
