Vince doesn't have enough turbo to catch the ricer is the problem. Maybe if he sprays a bunch.
I would love to see Vince take it, but taht supra is a built track car where Vince's car is still a nice street car that happens to go really fast. The supra makes 1650+rwhp and has more on tap if needed. Hard to compete with that.

I think TCI makes the tranny computer, but the converter is a coan or something good.
My go fast goodies should ship Tuesday. Just got to pick out what baby cam I'm putting in.

Nope. Not at all. Drove amazing. Could pull away from a stop light in 3rd gear, cruise at 1100rpm in 6th. Best big street cam I've ever driven or dealt with. Then again it is a big cam so it idles high, sounds mean, and has a bunch of overlap. Great for making torque and had huge midrange. I don't want a rough idle or any big cam issues anymore so I'm going with one that will be just like stock. I even debating putting the stock cam back in, but since I'm in there might as well just go a bit bigger. Yes I'm going to lose 30-40hp but who cares.

A big cam with a lots of overload does create other issues. I went smaller when I rebuilt the motor last year, and I am glad I did. Even now I wonder if I should have went a little smaller. The LS7 motor is whole different beast than a Gen 1, and can take a lot more cam without problems. I dropped to a 238/242, 558 lift, with a LSA 110 from a 245/245, 630 lift on a LSA of 110.

I'm going way small. Like 220/230ish. Stock is 211/230. Just a bit bigger than stock.

Went with a 228/236 .623/.637 116LSA cam. Should drive like stock and make a bit more power than stock but not be too crazy.

Why may I ask are you getting rid of the intake and cam. Worried about braking things. Are you going to quit racing it. I hope not, unless Vince can get his car running, It's you me and Stroker who are left racing. Sometimes Isabell shows up, but she's like Vince fixing stuff all the time......

Like I said, I want it to idle smoother and be tamer. For an ls7 that is a little baby cam.

Hey you two get a room ! JK, Nick is being a BAD boy. Between the new Mustang and the "downgrade" on the vete, coupled with the fact that my car is getting a stock LS6 installed,Wayne and the stroker will probably be Top dogs around these here parts ! Hope to have mine on the rack this weekend beginning the install, still have to mount a trans cooler and run the wiring up the tunnel as well.Got a LONG weekend ahead, not looking forward to it.

Vince, I cant wait to see the results! I may not be the fastest car around but I make it out there quite a bit, so dont count me out of the group that actually race!
