Might I suggest going old school and installing side pipes? They do sound really good.

That is one mother of a trans. It will kind of be like the tail wagging the dog.
Cool update.

That is one mother of a trans. It will kind of be like the tail wagging the dog. Cool update. Yeah it has turned into quite a project.I hope its worth it,we will see. Got the engine inst installed today, turbos clocked and inlets on(much easier to do without the frame in the way) downpipes on,wiring run under the engine, oil feed/drain lines hooked up,starter in,rerouted trans cooler lines. Here are a few progress pics as well as a mock up pic showing the basic turbo piping setup out of the car,as you can see its VERY busy once installed !Should be finishing up/firing it by lunchtime and then the boss gets to take it and put some breakin miles on it.Anyway, here is the basic setup with lower cradle for reference. Another view.

I tucked the trans cooler up in below the pass headlight,it was the only spot close to big enough to handle the cooler/fan pkg.

And an underneath view minus the cradle, much easier to work on this way ! The starter is up here, along with the new trans cooler lines and wastegates(not installed yet but the small pipes are where they go)

I'm guessing you didn't get it done for last Friday's race? You going to make the track before it closes this year?

Well after a frustrating couple of weeks fighting a reduced power issue(car would lock out throttle upon startup) I finally figured it out.Our lovely drive by wire system does NOT like any outside interference such as perhaps a Trans control computer Sucks cuz without the TPS my new trans stays in second gear ! Course I found out the hard way after chasing 32 miles of wiring, replacing all the throttle control components(TAC,accel pedal, and throttle body) and generally pulling what little hair I have out. Anyway the bigger issue is I have now a custom auxiliary TPS on my throttle body to properly control the transmission(and NOS in the future)Here are a few pics. The machine shop made a little tab that attached to the TB shaft with two stainless pins. Then we machined the TB to accept a Toyota TPS( GM ones rotate the wrong way due to the position of the actuator motor on the vette) here is what it looks like mounted up.

Getting it to quit smoking is easy as can be. I learned this quite some time ago. The Loud Pedal on the right is not an on off switch. You have to ease into it. I bet if I added 800 HP to my ride, I would have the same problem you do though.
Congrats on getting it back together.
